I've always been fascinated in the mind / body connection - how what we think and feel affects what we do and because of this, I've trained in a number of specialist interventions that I blend into my practise.

I can't believe I'm that old to admit it (!!) but I have nearly 30 years experience in working with a wide range of complex needs including neurodiversity (Autism, ADHD, Learning disabilities), challenging behaviour and mental health difficulties.    Settings I've worked in include: NHS, Local Authority, HM Prison service,  health and social care services,  charitable organisations, educational & corporate settings, clinical and private practice.

I'm the behaviour specialist for the children's charity Tappy Twins and am an Associate of DGF Psychology (clinical services).  I work as a specialist practitioner in private practise with children/young people (and their families) and adults.  I'm a trainer of an amazing stress busting technique called Emotional Freedom Technique (known as Tapping) and I'm a supervisor for those in the helping profession.

Something a bit different about me is that I'm one of the few therapists in Gloucestershire to offer home visits.  I also go into schools/colleges and have lots of experience with online appointments.    I use accessible therapy rooms in Cheltenham or Gloucester and have an office based in Hempsted where I live with my husband, 2 daughters and our rescue cat called Spirit!
