About Me
Professional & Personal Achievements
I’m a bit of a 'why' person, always eager to piece together the jigsaw puzzle to see the bigger picture. The mind-body connection has always fascinated me—how our thoughts influence our feelings and actions. This curiosity led me to train in various specialized interventions that I now blend into my practice.
With over 30 years in the helping profession, I've enjoyed many professional and personal highlights, including an appearance on ITN news, writing a chapter in a published book, receiving several award nominations, developing Gloucestershire's NHS self-management programme, teaching Emotional Freedom Technique (tapping) to women in prison, and completing the Couch to 5k programme!
I am passionate about making a difference in young people's lives, so I work flexibly with them and their parents, carers, or placements. This can be online, face-to-face, in schools or colleges and within children’s or supported living placements, at home, or even out on a walk or drive.
I live in Hempsted, Gloucestershire, with my husband, two teenage daughters, and our adorable dog called 'Rosie'!
